North Atlanta's grill repair specialist — gas, pellet & smoker service across North Georgia.
Kevin specializes in gas, pellet, and smoker equipment across North Atlanta. Not a generalist — a specialist. That focus means every job gets done right the first time.
Full diagnosis and repair of all gas grill systems — ignition to burner to regulator. All major brands serviced.
Offset, pellet, kamado, and cabinet smokers. Keep your smoke running true and temperatures dialed in.
Don't replace it — restore it. We source and swap worn components to bring your grill back to full working condition.
Outdoor kitchen and built-in grill specialists. Island grills and integrated systems most techs won't touch.
Gas outdoor fireplaces, fire pits, and fire tables — repaired, resealed, and brought back to life.
Spring startup and fall shutdown. Get your grill season-ready or properly stored. Includes written inspection report.
When it's time for something new, I'll help you find the right grill for how you cook — then handle everything from haul-away to hookup.
Many grill techs won't touch anything gas-related. Kevin can convert your grill from tank to natural gas line (when a line is already present), handle minor line re-routes in outdoor kitchen setups, and identify and repair common gas leaks at the grill connection. He works within his scope and will always tell you honestly when a job requires a licensed plumber.
A $125 diagnostic fee covers a full on-site inspection and a clear quote — because a proper diagnosis takes real expertise. $50 goes toward your repair if you choose to proceed.

"When they handed me the spoon and asked me to stir the beans, it was not about the beans. It was about being trusted. That is what I try to bring to every job."
— KevinI grew up all over the South — from Oklahoma to Alabama, Arizona, and Arkansas — until my family settled outside of Houston, Texas. Like a lot of Texas boys, I found my footing outdoors, around a fire, and developed a love of BBQ. One of my first jobs was at the famous Swinging Door Restaurant. Later, I found myself working in some of the best southern fine dining restaurants in the Texas Hill Country, where I met the true love of my life, my wife Brooke. I won her over with a great cooked steak on a cheap apartment patio grill, and we were married and started a family shortly after.
For a few years I had the privilege of helping out at the Fort Bend County Fair alongside the It's the Pits Cookers — a highly awarded Texas BBQ competition team made up of men I deeply admired. I showed up, hauled tables, cut onions, stirred beans, passed out beer, did whatever was needed, and learned from some of the best men and cooks I've ever known. Today we give back as a proud sponsor of their non-profit efforts to benefit veterans and agricultural youth. Learn more and support this amazing team — they not only inspired my company name, but who I am as a man today.
Lake Lanier had already been woven into our family story long before I met Brooke. She spent summers here as a child, visiting her Nana — then years later we'd travel as a young family to visit her parents on the lake, spending long Georgia days on the water with family and friends in the way that becomes the kind of memory you carry your whole life. We could no longer resist the call of lake life, and in 2015 we made the move to Cumming and bought the house next door to her dad. This is not somewhere we ended up. It is somewhere we came home to.
I've spent my life serving others in the food service industry and using my hands — building a successful pool service business in San Antonio, then raising three kids at home while Brooke finished her degree and built her career. I've always cooked outdoors as much as possible and have owned more grills than I can count. I've spent the last 2 years working professionally in the grill service industry and realized this was the work I was built for. It's the Pits BBQ Repair is the result — a business built on passion, craft, and the belief that the person fixing your grill should love and know how to cook on one.
When you call, you are calling a neighbor. I will look you in the eye, tell you exactly what is wrong, and fix it right — or tell you honestly when I cannot, and recommend the best replacement grill for your cooking style and budget.
Together, Brooke and I bring something most service businesses cannot offer — a genuine stake in the community we serve. Our kids go to school here. Our neighbors are our customers. Our reputation is built one backyard at a time, exactly the way it should be.
Kevin fixed my Weber Summit in an hour. It had been sitting dead for two seasons. He diagnosed it in minutes, explained everything clearly, and didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need.
Our outdoor fireplace had been declared "unrepairable" by two other companies. Kevin came out the next day, sourced the part, and had it running by the weekend. Incredible service.
Feels like calling a friend who actually knows what he's doing. Honest about what it would cost, fast, and he even gave me some tips on my smoke game while he was here.
Describe your situation and Kevin will get back to you fast — usually same or next day. The $125 diagnostic fee covers a full on-site inspection, and $50 applies to your repair if you move forward.
